The United Nations commends national and local authorities for their swift response. Together with the government and partners, we are assessing the earthquake’s impact and remain ready to support response and recovery efforts. We commend the courage and dedication of first responders, medical personnel, and volunteers who are working tirelessly to save lives and provide relief.
