IOM boosts government's capacity for evac response

IOM handed over laptop units and a CCCM COVID-19 Scale Model to Bienvenido V. Barbosa, OIC Division Chief of DSWD NCR Field Office. This will allow the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to conduct webinars for LGU camp managers in preparation for a possible Evacuation Response during this typhoon season, especially amid a pandemic.

Through the support of USAID Philippines and USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, IOM is providing capacity building support to the DSWD on Camp Coordination and Camp Management, Shelter and Displacement Tracking.
