For ILO, workers must be protected and their safety ensured
In the Timanan Central Elementary School, in South Upi, Maguindanao, workers at a water system construction project have returned to work assured of their safety. The International Labour Organization (ILO) made sure of their #SafeReturntoWork.
A risk assessment was undertaken by ILO and COVID-19 responsive occupational safety and health OSH protocols were put in place. For ILO, in this time of pandemic, ensuring safety and health in the work place is of prime importance! Workers must be protected and their safety ensured.
