WFP transports 45k PPE for Office of Civil Defense

45,000 sets of PPE transported to Regions I and V
WFP mobilized six trucks carrying 45,000 sets of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) from Metro Manila to Region I and V, on 20 August and 18 August, respectively.
This was made possible through the generous contribution of the United States Agency for International Development—Bureau for Humanitarian Affairs to support the Philippines' logistics operations.
WFP continues to assist the Office of Civil Defense by providing transport support services in bringing COVID-19 response essentials to various parts of the country.
