United Nations Philippines Country Results Report 2020
The year 2020 was a year like no other due to the COVID-19 pandemic but nevertheless the UN and its partners continued their drive for transformative change and inclusive, sustainable development, swiftly adjusting and re- focusing as needed in a changing context. Across the three pillars—People, Prosperity and Planet, and Peace—the UN, in partnership with the government and other stakeholders, has responded to the socioeconomic and health impact of the pandemic with immediate assistance, strengthened capacities, and policies put in place to ensure the country’s recovery and return to its path towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 in a way that leaves no one behind.
